The certification that validates your understanding of the ISO 20022 standard for financial messaging: its modeling methodology, XML syntax, the main payment and cash management messages, and the structured data requirements now demanded by SWIFT and payment market infrastructures. SWIFT cross-border payments (CBPR+) and most real-time gross settlement systems (TARGET2, CHAPS, Fedwire and many in Latin America) already run on ISO 20022. The ISO 20022 Certified Associate understands how a message is modeled and structured, reads and interprets pain, pacs and camt messages, follows a payment end to end and recognizes the value of structured data for reconciliation, compliance and analytics.
